Choosing how you are going to study will be one of the most important decisions you make during your time preparing for the ACCA Qualification, CAT or DipFM exams. Will you study with a tuition provider, or at home? How do you decide, from all the institutions offering tuition, which will be most suitable for your needs?
There are numerous tuition providers and a wide variety of different study methods, so selecting the one which is right for you can be difficult. Taking recommendations from friends and colleagues can provide some guidance, but what is suitable for one individual may not be the best option for another.
If you choose to study with a tuition provider, ACCA strongly recommends you opt for one which is approved under ACCA's Approved Learning Partner - Student Tuition programme, as you can be sure:
- they have been assessed against ACCA's widely recognised and highly-regarded global best practice benchmarks
- they have access to a range of development opportunities and tools provided by ACCA
- an investigation will be carried out in the event of any student complaints
Official Publishers
ACCA works with two Official Publishers who publish a range of materials to support students studying to take the ACCA and CAT Qualifications. These Official Publishers are BPP Learning Media and Kaplan Publishing.
The textbooks are prepared by the Publishers and then reviewed by ACCA's examiners to ensure syllabus coverage.
In addition to textbooks, BPP and Kaplan produce exam practice kits which are invaluable to students when preparing for exams.
